Farming at the 2013 Devon County Show

 

The Devon County Show is the largest annual event in the county; it celebrates the British countryside and is the curtain raiser for the start of the agricultural showing season across the South West.

 

It’s the first major opportunity for the showing fraternity and farming visitors to meet up; the first chance to compare notes, discuss the issues that matter and take a look at what’s on offer in the way of livestock, equipment and ideas for the development of farming businesses.

 

The Show is proud to host two national cattle competitions: Dexters, small and black cattle and the South Devons, known affectionately as ‘orange elephants’
