Airline style tickets available
10th March 2008Devon County Show has launched a new website offering better on-line facilities for competitors and visitors.
New ticket deals will be available over the coming months offering bigger savings for early ticket purchases.
Show Secretary Ollie Allen said the website offered anyone interested in Devon’s annual celebration of rural life more information than ever before.
“Our site is packed full of pictures and colour – just like the Show, itself. It’s also full of useful details about everything from how to buy a ticket or become a Member, to our many attractions as well as offering new facilities for exhibitors and visitors to conduct their business on-line.”
She added: “In a year which has been heralded by talk of economic gloom, we want to make sure our visitors get the chance to grab themselves a real bargain. For the first time we’re offering tickets like the airlines – buy early and get the best price!”
The Show held on May 15, 16, and 17 offers an extravaganza of all that’s best in rural Devon – from magnificent livestock, to fabulous food and drink, beautiful flowers and gardens and spectacular showcase of country living. There will also be thrills and spills with motorcycle stunt riders amongst others.
The Show is looking forward to welcoming tens of thousands of visitors - including HRH The Duchess of Cornwall. The Duchess is this year’s Show President and enjoyed a very successful visit three years ago with HRH The Prince of Wales, who is also the Show’s Patron.
