TV star Kirstie Allsopp at Devon County Show
25 April 2011
Devon TV star Kirstie Allsopp is filming an episode of her new craft series for Channel 4 at the Devon County Show (May 19-21), Exeter.
She is exploring the wonderful world of afternoon tea and will be getting to grips with the iconic Devon Cream Tea in a series of master classes with local chefs and cooks.
“Kirstie’s on a craft journey to Britain’s brilliant county shows,” said Lisa McCann, Series Producer of her production company, Raise the Roof.
“Each week will feature a different show and a different craft discipline and she will be meeting a whole host of crafters, from beginners to experts, along the way!”
Those who are passionate cooks and bakers are invited to enter a ‘Tea Party’ competition held at the Devon County Show on Friday (May 20).
